Adult Faith Formation Committee Member

Duties and Responsibilities

Attend monthly meeting.

With other committee members:

·

Assess adult faith formation needs of the parish.

·

Plan, publicize, implement and evaluate spiritual and educational programs and activities for adults.

·

Supervise the Catechumenate process.

·

Maintain the parish library.

·

Make an effort to attend programs and events sponsored by the committee.

Time Commitment

3-4 hours per month

Length of Commitment

2 years; renewable for 2 years

Training

·

Read a packet of resource material including a copy of the statement of the U.S. Catholic Bishops: Our Hearts Were Burning Within Us, A Pastoral Plan For Adult Faith Formation In The United States.

·

Receive briefing from experienced member.
