Music, Adult Choir Member

Duties and Responsibilities

·

Provide vocal music at one 11 AM Mass per month, enhancing the worship and leading the congregation in song.

·

Provide vocal music for the special liturgies during the church year, particularly Christmas and Holy Week and other special times.

·

Attend two-hour rehearsals one evening per week, as well as extra rehearsals as required for special upcoming liturgies.

Masses and rehearsals as scheduled

Length of Commitment

Training

·

(Required) Ability to sing on pitch.

·

(Desired) Ability to read music.

·

Tapes of new material are are often provided for rehearsal.

·

Receive training from Director of Music Ministry.
