Parish Pastoral Council Member

Duties and Responsibilities

·

Assist the pastor in his leadership role of planning, organizing, initiating, promoting, coordinating and reviewing the evangelization, worship, religious education, and service activities within the parish.

·

Assess the needs of the whole parish and its members; develop and implement a pastoral plan which promotes the common good of the parish.

·

Foster a sense of unity and community in the parish; coordinate all parish activities in a manner that will best serve the interests of the parish.

·

Promote programs and activities recommended by the archbishop, archdiocesan offices and agencies, as well as the parish pastoral council itself.

·

Serve as liaisons with parish committees to promote effective communication between the parish pastoral council and the committees and among all committees.
