Worship, Environment and Art Committee Member

Duties and Responsibilities

Interface with Worship Committee.

·

Floral designer:

1

Buy and create floral arrangements for weekly celebrations.

Plan, order, and buy flowers and plants for special liturgical seasons.

3

Water and maintain plants during Christmas and Easter seasons.

4

Use/discard wedding and funeral flowers.

5

Clean flower room.

·

Gardener: Plant and maintain seven urns outside church and parish center.

Time Commitment

20-40 hours per year

Length of Commitment

2 years

Training

·

Receive briefing from experienced member in buying and making suitable church arrangements in keeping with liturgical guidelines.

·

(Desirable) Some creative talent.
