Saint Zepherin Response

Saint Zepherin Response is a group of concerned parishioners working together to ensure the involvement of laity at every level of parish life, in response to the current crisis in the Church.  While we are not a Voice of the Faithful chapter, we do maintain close ties with them.

Our next meetings:

  • Thursday, July 11 at 7:15 in the Parish Center.  The proposed Safe Environment Policy will be reviewed at this meeting.

  • Thursday, July 25 at 7:15 in the Parish Center.  The 'Response of the Faithful' convention on July 20 at the Hynes Convention Center will be reviewed for those unable to attend.

  • Learn more about the 'Response of the Faithful' convention.

Among our accomplishments:

  • A Mass of Healing & Compassion was held on May 28 in conjunction with St. Ann's Parish, Wayland.

  • A forum, 'Pointers for Parents: Discussing the crisis in the Church with your children' was held on June 2

  • A Listening Session was held on June 30th for teens in the Parish

Among our goals:

  • To implement a Safe Environment Policy, ensuring the physical and emotional safety of all parishioners, especially children.

  • To involve laity in the life of the parish to the fullest extent possible under Vatican II.
